Phrozen opened pre-orders for the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX in Taiwan in July 2026, with first units shipping in September. List price is $1,600; a Super Early Bird offer that opened September 22 drops it to $1,300, or $1,250 with a subscriber code.
The machine closes a gap in Phrozen’s own line. The existing Sonic Mighty Revo 16K has sharp resolution (14 × 19 µm pixels) but a small 211.68 × 118.37 × 235 mm envelope. The Sonic Mega 8K S offers scale at a coarser 43 µm pixel. The Revo MAX pairs a 14.7 L build volume (302.4 × 161.98 × 300 mm) with a 14-inch 16K mono LCD, at 20 × 26 µm pixels, coarser than the smaller Revo because the same roughly 15,000-pixel row is spread across a panel about 40% wider.

The vat heater, which handles resin up to 4,000 cps, is sold separately; Phrozen calls the standard chamber heater plus optional heated vat an industry first for consumer machines. Rivals in the 14-inch class: Elegoo’s Jupiter 2 matches the build volume and XY resolution at $949 with a pumped feed system; Anycubic’s Photon P1 Max is larger (18.3 L) but 12K at $959; Uniformation’s GK3 Ultra runs $1,499.99. Phrozen says pre-production units went to MR.JOE HOBBY.tv, MADWORKS and FauxHammer, with independent reviews due in October.
