UniFormation S10 prints, washes and dries resin parts for $999 on Kickstarter

UniFormation calls the S10 the world’s first desktop fully automated resin 3D printer, and the pitch is specific: after the 16K mono LCD finishes a print, the build platform rotates to drain resin, slides over to a 9 L wash tank while a cover seals the resin vat, runs two dip-and-scrub wash cycles, then turns 270° to a drying port that runs a fan at 35-45°C. The user still has to pull the part, remove supports and post-cure it, through an optional plug-and-play curing module that snaps into the machine.

UniFormation frames the footprint comparison against running a separate printer, wash station and curing unit, not against a single standalone resin printer. It also says an “assisted release film” (NFEP) cuts peel force by more than 30%, and pressure sensors are meant to catch foreign objects mid-print.

For shops running several units, the optional S10 Fluid Hub serves up to three printers, washes two simultaneously, and uses a two-tank rough-wash-then-fine-rinse scheme to stretch IPA life, UniFormation’s recommended farm config is three S10s per Hub.

The S10 launches on Kickstarter in late October 2026, shipping to the US, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia with delivery estimated for March 2027. UniFormation says “selected professional users” tested it during development, but hasn’t published failure rates, wash-cycle duration, or how the automated wash handles trapped resin in complex internal geometries, those are the numbers that will decide if this is more than a gimmick for miniature painters.
